is a group leader at the Max-Delbrück-Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC), Berlin, Germany where he studies structural dynamics of GPCR activation and signaling with a particular interest in spatiotemporal compartmentation of GPCR downstream signals.

Andreas obtained his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Bonn, Germany in 2013 and did his post-doc with Martin Lohse, University of Würzburg, Germany and Jin Zhang, UCSD, La Jolla, USA. In 2017, Andreas moved to the MDC Berlin where he leads his team since 2020.
